I “understand” the theory of why the image is stationary.  But I also find that I struggle with accepting that the image is static.

At least in Canada the “Dallas” is given the dorky name it deserves: “Milton”.

I think the Model Y is the second best looking Tesla so far (after the Model S).

I think the styling of the early Vegas is terrific -- big grille, small bumpers, kamm back.  Didn’t this platform also begat the Monzas?

It’s perfectly cromulent.

There was a recall issued for Alliances and Encores for something to do with the heater core.  At some point I read an article in the 1990s (probably in Car and Driver) about people being paid to fix cars that were in wrecking yards on their way to be crushed.

I’m not usually an OG Corvair fan, but this changes my mind . . . it is gorgeous.

I’d be willing to put it at the front of the prettiest American car of the decade, and it would be running in the top 5 of the “world list”.

I think it was an epsiode of Roadkill Junkyard Gold that explained the grill change was a result of the need clear the radiator (or the rad support), not the V8 itself. A hood bulge wouldn’t have helped.

My parts tingled when he did the burn out. I thought the sound was way more like the vaunted “ripping of canvas” description of the Columbo V12 in a Ferrari than any old Ferrari I’ve heard at high rpm.

I am willing to bet cash talks on the asking price.  Show up with 2500, but start with an offer of a grand . . .

One of our club members used to run an SHO at our local track.  Back in the day, 220 hp was “powerful” (for perspective, my Rabbit had 72 hp).  Front brake fade was constant for him, and I remember that he rigged up washer nozzles to spray the brakes in an effort to keep them cool.  I don’t remember that being

I am surprised you didn’t use a bottle jack or even a scissor jack to do this. Seems like it would have been easiest.

I am not a fan of the aesthetics of the EB110, but I sure am a fan of the backstory about the rebirth of the brand.  I didn’t know much of it at the time, and I was quick to dismiss them as just another long line of poseur cars that were so common throughout the 1980s.  It’s clear that the rebirth was a passion

Oooh, I love it! I drove a cab in universtiy. The B body wagons were my favourite (though I’d prefer an Electra — the electric window switches are better placed, and really that’s about the only notable difference).

All my cars are white. It is the colour choice that makes me happiest.

It’s been a long time since I was a VW fanboi, but those seats don’t look like the Recaros from a GTI. The bottom cushion bolsters aren’t aggressive enough, if I recall correctly.

I think it’s a Carrera, not an SC.  So I’d argue that it is a “notch” (hardy har har) above a Targa SC.

Meh, one kind of difference would .5 to a 1 pound of PSI make, anyway?

Needs more schedenfreude . . .
