My hometown! We have much to be proud of, indeed.

Is there a hockey fan alive who doesn’t genuinely believe that they could resurface an arena with no formal training, in the event of an emergency?
Seems like they worked really hard to not call it a hatchback . . .
They are truly the embodiment of the backyard “wrench”. I have a soft spot for Ladas, though, and it saddens me to see the destruction.
I love it when people have fun with absurd ideas . . . especially when they film the results.
I always eat the rind. But I only recently learned that you can use the rind of a parmesan to add complexity to a pasta sauce or ratatouille. I shudder to think of how many of those I’ve cavalierly thrown into the compost in my 35 years plus of cooking . . .
Excellent! Made me guffaw . . .
The sweetest shadenfreude ever was my Blue Jays ‘92. Mostly because it ended that fucking chant in the best possible way.
10/10 would buy.
I think the tye-dye is an alusion to a head-dress. Just to make it even more culturally insensitive.
I didn’t notice Gifford or Pelosi (forgive me, but I am not an American). I did notice that almost everyone in that picture is a woman.
I remember that one, too, but I had to go old school. When I was a teenager my friends had Countach posters. I had an air-cooled 911 Turbo poster . . .
I can’t be the only one who considers a 2005 to still be “new”, right? Indeed, until last year the newest car I owned was a 2003.
I like the cut of your jib . . .
This 1976 911 Turbo is well on its way. I’d be happy to help:
This is my least favourite type of car customization. There is nothing about the aesthetics or performance that appeals to me. Having said that, I certainly respect the fact that there is an incredible amount of time and effort put forth to create these things . . .
Perhaps if they were a more common sighting in my neck of the woods it would be easier. My vision is fine -- I can still differentiate between all the different versions of the old Chryco L bodies :)
I have reached an age where I can no longer tell McLarens apart from one another. I’m sure they are all lovely, but outside of an F1, a P1, and a Senna, everything else looks the same to me.
I love the Rivian design language. I sure hope the GM investment doesn’t make their products as ugly as the Silverado . . .
