Yeah, this one... I was trying to come up with a sandwich that doesn’t use bread in my head, but was coming up completely empty.

Agreed. I’m running Timely on my LG G3 with zero issues on 5.0.1.
Personally, I think we should just let Texas go. An invasion is the complete opposite direction we should be going.
Never said it was you, but there are plenty of replies to the original post that boil down to “if you pay for car repair, you’re an idiot.”
A. Sure, basic mechanics tool yeah. But jobs that require tools that are only usable for that specific application, maybe not. If you can rent them, awesome. But if you can’t, they can get very expensive.
That’s the way to go.

It has nothing to do with “not being willing” on most of that.
From what I’ve seen, the cheap 4K sets have awful scalers. 4K content looks fine, when you can find it, but 1080(i)(p) tends to look like crap.

A. For many jobs, the tools needed are expensive.
B. Not everyone has the time to learn how to do the job, and then do the job properly.
C. Not everyone has somewhere they can work on a vehicle.
So, she felt a vibration, ignored it for a week and then complained it cost more than the cost of an oil change to fix?
Yeah, 90s era VBHC kids blew up Facebook the last 2 days... I only met him in passing a few times, but he seemed like a good dude. I’m going to go listen to Mayday.
Don’t forget the best Basil of them all:
I’m sure Guy Fieri carries a “Guy Fieri Parking” placard with him wherever he goes.
I’m not going to hate on french fries on a sandwich, but someone’s crossing a goddamned line with fries in a salad!
I’m sure that the BBC fully appreciates Clarkson’s talents, but he assaulted a co-worker. I don’t care how talented someone is, that’s a fireable offense. Over cold cuts. COLD CUTS!
Me? Sure. I know I sound awful, look awful, and am a jackass. I also don’t lack the self awareness, nor do I have the sense of self importance, that the people in these stories would require. We’re talking about people with some kind of personality defect that the average person doesn’t have.
For what? To show them how bad they’re acting? They’re the ones acting it out. What leads you to believe that they’d be capable of seeing their bad behavior, even when viewed from a third party vantage point? They act that way because they think they’re justified and because they’re right.
But the problem is: If you’re that much of an asshole, you’re not going to be self aware enough to know you’re the giant flaming mega-douche that you actually are. You think you’re awesome, and the world around you is filled with sniveling peons.
I had no idea who or what Snow Patrol was, so I just checked youtube. I wish I hadn’t.
This has nothing to do with me. We live in an increasingly cash free world. A business making it so that you can’t tip on a card, so they can save on transaction fees, isn’t looking out for their employees, and is ultimately going to hurt those employees.
