It’s the 80s it’s Halloween on a weekday and I, being the oldest and a girl, am responsible for taking 2 younger brothers trick or treating, along with 2 young sons of my parents’ friends. My parents and the kids’ parents are at our house playing cards and and smoking cigarettes.
A little help from the other side:
Can I also plead that we don’t need to know the layout of your entire house to hear about something scary that happened inside? The long, overly detailed and confusing architectural descriptions are nearly a convention at this point.
I’ve got one I call “Old Gray Thing” that I always forget to post. It was a paranormal encounter but I’m still not sure what exactly it was, and I’ve always been curious if anyone else has seen one too. I’m doxxing myself if anyone I know reads this, but here goes nothing...

I even had the chance to see them speak together once, and their dynamic was sweet and funny. Knowing that Eric was the one to find him, and thinking of his…
I hope Eric’s ok. He’s such a darling, gentle soul.
Bourdain was an advocate for women. He also used his platform to give a voice to the largely brown and Spanish speaking staff who make up the backbones of our restaurant industry.
You are not a lost cause. You have worth. The world is a better place with you in it.
I am so sad. That fact that Eric was the one that found him makes this doubly devastating.
This is hitting me hard this morning and I’m still trying to come to grips. I’m currently doing the work to try to get a handle on my depression and it’s so fucking hard. And it’s expensive and time consuming and draining! But I’m hoping there is light on the other side. But when I hear about Anthony and Kate Spade,…
