What made it fake to me was wearing thriftstore finds without washing them. If Franny’s mother had them for decades, they must’ve been awful musty. And she never put her hand in the pocket of the unwashed knit skirt prior to then?

I had plans to read the post-Nemesis books and now I’m feeling a little deflated on that front, but I think I will probably go ahead regardless of whether the show obliterates novel continuity completely. When all is said and done, I’d rather have these characters on a screen than on a page.
I wonder if the line of TNG novels will stop now. They're up to 2386, which is before the destruction of Romulus, and Picard is still captain. There's at least one more coming in October, but it'll be interesting to see whether they continue. Unless Riker and Troi are a regular presence on ST:P, the Titan series…
Enver needs to be a regular on something great again soon. A Rob Thomas show would be especially nice!
Seeing this gif reminds me how damned good this series was in season 1. I still watch it, but I miss the days when Liv had a strong character all her own. Now I just tolerate her and watch for other characters.
To be fair, I would watch the hell out of that.
I’m thinking he gave Chic the choice to cooperate or die, and the other one is Chic. But it really does make sense for Hiram to be doing something opportunistic re: Fred.

This happened to me with Gaius on Battlestar Galactica.
I’m so sorry she had to go through something so awful, and admire her for coming forward.
They canceled Agent Carter for this crap?!
Admiral Halsey?! Snerk. That’s a McCartney song, if anyone doesn’t know that.
I find that I am kind of grateful for the notes-ish-ness, in a weird way. Like, we’re gonna get closure, and that’s good. But it’s also probably going to be true that the book ending will be way better, so we’ve got something to look forward to at the same time.
I want cameos by characters I love!
Quotes aren’t actually correct, either. For full titles of books, movies, television series, etc. you’re supposed to use italics. If you’re citing a specific episode, you use quotes. Like:
That’s correct.
“It’s not clear what acting gig Turner was talking about, but she has four unreleased films in the works, including Berlin, I Love You, Huntsville, Time Freak, and the upcoming X-Men movie where she’s reprising her role as Jean Grey.”
I always think Poltergeist, personally. (Not that I see them often.)
Me, too. I especially like that Chase isn’t straight-up evil and seems to genuinely be trying to maintain peace.
The article does call him a “green Kawasaki motorcycle rider.” Hyphens with compound adjectives are our friends, y’all.
