At this point I would agree, with how good New Worlds is and how it demonstrates that yes in fact all the star trek fans just want more regular star trek I would hope that they’ll for season 3 at least pander a bit and just have it be the proper last hurrah of the TNG crew a bit like the original movies.

Honestly the most interesting parts of the trailer are the JSA. Everything else just feels bland and one note. 

Anyone else get the feeling they’re embarrassed that this is a spinoff of Shazam? Like they’re actively taking steps to avoid any connections with the parent series?
