It does snow in Tennessee, so I wouldn’t assume no salt exposure or hidden rust. (Although Lincoln County is west of Chattanooga, so it’s not in the mountains.)

Is George Costanza still doing Yankee travel stuff?  Typical.

Old Accords are so ubiquitous, (and that rust spot so common) that most bodyshops can fix them cheaply and well. (I just had a bilateral rustectomy on my ‘06 Accord done for ~$600) And as pointed out already, $2k is winter-beater money, so less than a grand would be worth-it investment, especially if the new

Thank you. I work for a publicly-held company and deal with highly private customer information. IT has their hands full already. (And they also already hate me.)

Wow! Imagine how enthusiastic the Irish would be for real doughnuts!

It’s generally allowed on straights, not corners. The DRS doesn’t just reduce drag, it reduces downforce. Downforce is vital in most of the corners on an F1 track. In order to deploy the DRS, you have to be w/in 1 second of the car ahead. On a straight, cars have enough time to accumulate speed on the less aerodynamic

Drivers are brave and stupid.  F1 wants as many cars as possible to finish the races.

On a techy note, I clicked on the video clip to watch cars pass through 130R. Just at the moment when Alonso is setting Schumi up for a pass, just before the entry and slingshot, a banner ad flashed onto the lower half of the screen, obscuring the cars. I was watching at work and have no ad-blocker on my work computer

What part of “Little Ball of Hate” confuses you?

But is it a sandwich?

Thank you. Is that merely gravity drop, or does it include muzzle depression?

USN is not focused on enemies assaulting our coasts, but on maintaining the capability to assault anybody else’s coast, and with weapons like cruise missiles, reach far inland of any country. When you’ve been the biggest bully for three generations, it’s hard (and maybe a little dangerous) to change your habits.

Did they do the Harry Potter muggle dinner scene?

6,705 inches

Yes. Racing powerful cars is dangerous. Bruce Mclaren was killed in one of his Can-Am M8s at Goodwood while testing. OTOH, Bob Wollek was killed riding his bike in Sebring, FL.

I hear she can coooooooooooooook!

If’n you ain’t cheatin, you’re gettin’ beaten!

Perhaps you’re overlooking Kate’s charms. To do so would be to act at your risk. (It’s her web site)

If you live in a place where having a car is a burden (NYC) or easily done without (any condensed city with a good public transportation system) the incentive for having a car is minimal.

No.  The opposite.
