I actually had a newer Maxima as a rental once. Didn’t hate it at all. It wasn’t really cup of tea but it surprised me. I’m not really a CVT guy but in a V6 they seem to be a little better, and there’s plenty of power. Also cooled seats are a godsend. I wish one of my cars had them.

I was born 2 years after reunification and wasn’t really aware of any of that stuff for another 10 years or so, so the entire thing sounds surreal to me. People are fucking terrible to each other.
