“Outside of single examples”

Well yeah, I doubt you’re going to see a whole line of red GLS’s in traffic together.

I feel the same way about Tesla Model X’s. So many average families around me are driving $90k examples.

Reliability, resale value, etc.

I have (and do)! It’s not the best, lol. It’s currently awaiting a new head.

Dude, just get a new V6 Camry. And I say this as a huge car enthusiast.

Having driven a few of these newer manuals, the magic really isn’t there unless you put some loud pipes on it.

I know of at least one (1) person in the US who will buy one of these new if we get them. I hope that’s enough for BMW lol

Hell, I’d say well over half of the Ford F150s sold in the US are 3.5 and below.

These are so in fashion that most larger dealerships will not remove them because customers ask for them.

Leaving these on actually damages the paint underneath. It also looks stupid. But my best guess is that people already think the Mopar muscle types are douchebags and this weird trend is fun to make fun of.

It seems like in general the whole “Marketing to ____ generation” thing never really works, and people will just buy cars that meet their needs regardless of who they’re supposed to be bought by. The styling doesn’t even seem to make a huge difference.

I’m not so sure I’d want to ride a roller coaster where the track will regularly include various unexpected hazards.

Hey don’t bring the poor GTI into this :( It’s not the cars fault it attracts douchebags.

You want a cookie or something? Fuck, you totally destroyed the point you were trying to make by trying to humblebrag.

Also, nice job doing the exact same thing you’re talking shit about

You and all the people who remember paying $15k for a small truck with no options.

They’re still marking them up $10-15k in my area anyway, lol.

Shit like this makes me glad I bought a Miata before the crossover market swallows such cars whole.

How many normal people pay $50k for a 1990s Toyota?

You say that it’s less powerful than a Hellcat, but given the Germans manufacturers’ history of underrating cars I wouldn’t be surprised if they were pretty close. Also there’s obviously the massive weight difference.

Calling a GT2 less powerful than a Hellcat is like calling an F1 car down on torque vs. a

As a San Diego resident who’s been Land Cruiser shopping, this made me smile.
