Here in the U.K. just last week a couple took nine hours to go 123 miles in their electric Porsche.

The guy either had no policy all together or had a policy with another vehicle but his policy didn’t extend to being insured to drive other vehicles and so this one but even if it did, because he now owned the vehicle it is duty of care to notify his insurance to add it to his policy.

Not necessarily. You can have a multicar policy, with several cars on the same policy, you can also have other names on the policy too, granted in all instances it means you pay a higher premium. Many but not all policies will allow you to drive other vehicles often as long as the owner of that vehicle has insurance

Ye’, also

Here in the U.K. it has to be taxed, insured and MOT’d (yearly vehicle inspection on vehicles over three years old) but you can keep it unTAX’d off road if you notify the DVLC (U.K. DMV) that the vehicle is off road (SORN, Statutory Off Road Notification), but it needs to be booked in for an MOT (if it’s out of MOT)

Why don’t VW just give you a lifted Passat?

Worth noting that at the different types of crossing we have here in the U.K.

Hi fella. I hope your well.

Look at the Honda e, it’s near £30,000, for it’s size and range, it’s £10,000 more than similar sized and range electric vehicles.

Honda have said they want to make all it’s European sold vehicles electric by 2022, with more hybrids being offered to North America.

This looks like it’s aimed more at the U.S. market and will be built there, it’s much more toned down than it’s previous Euro, U.K. built Civics which will no longer be built in the U.K. after Honda closes it’s Swindon factory early next year, ending what will be 27 years of Honda Civic production. It being a saloon

Land Rover themselves have been making ‘commercial’ van versions of their vehicles for a great deal of time now.

As far as I’m aware, the war of the roses had some effects on Cumbria but no wars were fought here.

All the cakes are made fresh by the staff and there are vegetarian and vegan friendly options.

It is.

Near me we have a book shop called ‘Bookends’, which has a cafe inside to the rear called ‘Cakes and Ale’.

Yes, VAG as parent company has final say, but VAG gives it’s other marques quite a bit of autonomy in what happens.

Booooooo!

It’s the Czechs that design Skodas. VAG is the parent group, but Skoda do their own designing, they get the MQB platform, drivetrain and entertainment system and tweak each to their requirements but it’s done in their own design department.

You forgot the optional Comfort Sleep Pack with headrest wings that fold down to cradle your head and blankets in little cases that attach to the rear of the front seats if you want them there.
