I’m deeply into the vibe of this. I love a good obsessive Jackman performance ala The Prestige. And of course Rebecca Ferguson classes up everything she touches.

That was such a great science fiction film. It's a shame it's basically fallen through the cracks these days. Can't even rent it through streaming services.

While Drummer is the best amalgamated character from the books to the show (and now one of the greatest TV sci-fi characters of all time, imo) — there’s absolutely no question that Show-Ashford is 100% the best change from Book-Ashford.

David Straithairn was so goddamn good as Ashford. You could tell he had a lot of fun playing the character. (The show did a great job with Ashford considering he’s such a boring, 2-dimensional, single-minded character in the book.)

Exactly. Any older man dating an 18 year old is super creepy and disgusting. An 18 year old that he knew as a child and had a relationship with continuously, that screams of long term grooming.
