Yeah I’m 29 and now officially have no idea what is going on. I mean, other than the bascis of “people like to watch hot people do stuff”. That will never go out of style.

That stuck out to me as well. That one phrase says A LOT.

she needed to put something up on TikTok that day”

Very long article for what boils down to “men on the internet like attractive women”

Attractive person has a viral hit on a social media platform, news at 11.

I dunno, maybe it’s just me, but it seems her rise in popularity may have been attributable to something other than ‘OK Boomer’. YMMV

This is some meta, meta stuff here. I did enjoy the dialog on how it relates to generational changes and context, however. But damn I definitely am way too old for this.

1. Get real
2. Luddite
3. Okay Boomer

“In my mind, GM’s biggest marketing challenge isn’t whether it accepts government help or not, but making a single car outside of the Corvette and (possibly) Camaro that is remotely desirable.”

At least Mack’s takes were hot and correct.

Absolutely agreed! No need for these massive, space-hogging yards of 150 cars all in silver, black, or white, none of which is exactly what you want. I think it’s a rare thing that people go to a dealership and need a car NOW; why not have dealers help consumers pick which colors/options they want and then order the

While I would agree that the dealer system is flawed and ridiculous.

“The car is a 2010, but the interior was pretty immaculate, and felt as up-to-date as most current-model cars I’ve been in.”

Imagine if the industry had spent the last decade developing a modern sales model that didn’t require hours of in-person up-selling and paperwork, instead of lobbying for legislation that required it.

No. 90% of all female cast movies are junk because they celebrate being a female cast. And secondly this franchise has run its course, making further movies in effort to check off an all female cast on an already way over done franchise as a whole.

Keep it as a team thing; don’t copy Charlie’s Angels. Have Rodriguez and Brewster take the lead, though; I’d like to see that, they deserve better in this franchise.

I think we can at least all agree that whichever driver should have/did win, the real loser here was team orders.

Hot take: Wanting the government to meddle with autonomous driving regulation this early in the game is misguided. Autonomous cars aren’t murdering people left and right. We’ve had something like two or three fatalities out of the millions and millions of miles of autonomous driving?

There’s something in this. The ranger, tacoma, colorado, frontier, et al. all have versions that are just small trucks for people who like small trucks. They each have their focus but the Gladiator is far more focused than the others, even in base form its still more wrangler than truck.  Its wrangler roots make it a

This is a bad take. Crank windows are good, but people want apple carplay, any less torque the Gladiator will never get out of its own way.

I just think it’s flat out too big as well as too expensive. At about 218" long, it’s almost 6" longer than a than any other midsize truck while having the shortest bed (yeah, only a fraction of a inch, but my point stands). It’s not like it’s really much roomier inside than the competitors. While it is super cool,
