I just wanna get in ahead of the shitposting:

I despise, as much as the next guy, those assholes who drive around with their light bars on all the time, blinding everyone. Those people suck.

Having said that, a light bar (or any auxiliary light) can be a fantastic tool on a dark, unlit road at night when used properly

The only thing Hummer does 11 is Chapter.

11 thousand foot-pounds for 11 minutes at 11 miles range, when towing 11 thousand pounds of trailer weight. Followed by 11 hours at a charging station.

GM has completely lost the plot. We want vehicles that aren’t ugly and have decent interiors. We don’t need another behemoth that’s a useless brodozer.

Yeah I wondered that too. 10X higher rating than any production vehicle ever released seems like advertising material counting on consumers not to understand the details about where that torque is measured.

It has got to be under some narrowly-defined condition or specific location just so they can advertise a gigantic number.

Some of us can’t plug in when we get home

yeah i wish theyd go all out for efficiency vs power like i can’t use 1000 hp on the street as well as i would love to have crazy range since i don’t have a garage to charge in every night.

OK, we get it. These fuckers are fast. Still not buying until refuel is as convenient as gas. Please make that happen and I’m in.

What’s the white tank top budget like for a film like this?

A trailer for a trailer? My god what a wonderful world I live in. Will I ever see a trailer for a trailer for a trailer? or does the hypetrain disappointingly  stop at two?

Sorry to say but it’s not my burner. I don’t need to pretend to be the people who wrote this thing to make my point. The filmmakers’ intent with Lisa was readily apparent to me. I’m happy to confront misogynistic assholes head-on with no fakery.

Hey guys, I’m one of the filmmakers involved w/ this. First of all thank you for watching and for the spirited debate!

With that said, @texturedsoyprotein is spot on. We wrote Lisa as a supportive partner who didn’t want Kevin to ultimately sell his car. The (untold) backstory is they’ve been talking a lot about their

After the interview, the guy calls Lisa and leaves her a message,

I take it by your quotes around “encourages” that you interpreted the note as some kind of veiled ultimatum from the spouse. Why do you assume this is the case? The note is stuck on a collection notice. What if the two of them collectively decided if he didn’t get the job, they’d sell his car to pay this bill?

By no means am I a BMW guy, but when the guy in the movie started smiling, I started smiling.

An R32 GTR and E30 M3 video in the same article ? I’m going to have to take off work early. I couldn’t contain myself after watching those. I need fresh khakis immediately.

I just don’t want to spend that much on tires.

*Males under 28.

You can’t be fucking serious. Houston car shows have been multicultural since the late 90's at least when I first started attending. I know several people that cite their time in a large car club as the beginning of the end of their own personal racist mindsets. (It’s kind of hard to remain racist when your friends
