The quality control on my car has been absolute garbage. Cheap interior to start, but beyond that, the engine is horribly inefficient and the transmission is awful. They had their place in time, but drive one long term and you'll praise the day you get rid of it.

Must have been the guy who built mine. This car sucks.

Them curves.

Beat me to it. While I do believe they will make us pay for the name, I also believe McLaren isn't capable of building a car they aren't proud of just to make a quick buck.

Let's talk about how much I hate my C63 AMG again for a minute for several of the above reasons.

The Corvette is a better deal, bottom line. I love the new Viper, but I really only see $75k car. It's just not valuable enough to the consumers.

Don't care. Don't care. Don't care. Didn't read. It's just too damn ugly. It could be the greatest SUV ever made, but it's got a face only a mother could love. And even then not as not as much as the rest of her children.

Loved this movie! Dax did his own driving and used his own cars as well. And Lex Luther from Smallville is in it too.

YES! Wash ALL the clothes mid way through your trip.

There's plenty of room. I did a 9 day trip with a backpack. 4 changes of clothes, wash once, and you're good to go. Drive it in the Alcan 5000. Impress me. ...I'm still really jealous.

Thanks for writing this Travis. I think a lot of vehicles, especially SUVs, are judged on paper too often. Driving them is a different story. On paper, I should love the E63 and CTS-V wagons a lot more than any high performance SUV. Driving both, I don't. They're great cars and I had a great time behind the wheel

Just drove one the other day, and this thing handles like crap, even for an SUV. Loved the X5M though. It was fun to drive!

This was the first thing that popped in my head. I'm so sick of the old WRXs and STIs. They desperately need an update.

They specifically point that out in the article.

"Stop making stupid people famous."

I typically only met for a drink unless the date was long distance and we had been talking for a while. The expectation was definitely a little higher, as were the hopes. I completely agree though; 95% of the time it was only coffee or a drink for a first date.

Depends. If it's a blind date or someone I met online and I'm not interested in a second date, I split the check. The rest of the time I still feel like it's sort of my duty to do so. However, I feel she should at least offer as a courtesy. There are plenty of women who just go on dates for the free meal. I agreed to

I used to tune a lot when I was younger. As I've gotten older, the cars with the most appeal are the cars I have to do the least to. It's the fit and finish I'm after. I've never driven a tuned car that didn't compromise in some big way after the upgrades (usually reliability). I'd take the McLaren, or even a stock

Any F1 will do. I see MP4s a few times a week if it's nice out, but I've still never laid eyes on an F1.
