I followed your thread on SF. To say you got lucky with the car, is the biggest understatement in the Supra world.

Well I just don’t think $25k or approximately what he is going to spend on restoring it, is “affordable” considering what he would be getting.

I would honestly rather have a Maxima than an R32/R33 - the looks and the interior just kill it for me. Remind me of a ‘89 240SX.

I received offers I couldn’t refuse and I didn’t need multiple Supra’s at once. Plus I was never really happy with the autos. I still have a 6 speed.

Damn you lucky SOB! All that and a stock Supra with 1000rwhp.

Oh man, that must really suck. How will you ever survive like this?

Oh I care for the performance, I just want it to look good too. I’ve had 2 TT auto and 2 TT 6 speed Supra’s and the auto is just not my cup of tea.

Hell yeah. I don’t want to sleep with my sister.

2 were TT auto cars and 2 were/are TT 6 speed cars, from bone stock to 1200rwhp. The most recent TT 6 speed was $60k.

$18k sounds about right with a non V160 transmission and $25k all-in bpu.

How do you know that I don’t daily MKIV Supra?

Might as well be free. Wouldn’t matter to me.

Personally, I disagree. I’ve owned 4 and I think they are very fun to drive and handle great if properly setup. I am also not a F&F fanboy and not a YouTube user, but I do think that “matting the gas pedal on a public highway is racing”. Is it dangerous and stupid? Yes. But that is why there’s the Texas Mile, TX2K,

I was going to say thank god you didn’t get one, but after reading “my parents wouldn’t let me... because they thought i’d kill myself”, I wish you’d have.

Fair enough. I only look at modification potential, styling and rarity.

They are not. 1. That wheel has extra small holes towards the middle. 2. The center caps on the rear of CCW’s in MKIV spec are different. I have 6.

And proud!

I just don’t care for the looks, so to me, the performance of R32 or R33 is irrelevant. I mean, just take a look at the materials used and the design of the interior in the MKIV vs R32/33.

Call me an idiot, I don’t care - I would easily pay $110k for the right Supra and personally know a few who paid $100k+ for one.

“Affordable Supra’s” is a relative term. To me, they’re back in 2008 when it was possible to get TT 6 speed cars for $25-30k. But even then some though that was too much. Now those same cars are going for $60-80k.
