Of which only half were turbo.
Most nice 6 speed MKIV’s go for way more than new Camaro money.
Damn, wish I lived closer. Hell of a deal. Would put an Aristo / A340 and flip that thing for an easy $10-15k+ profit. Possibly more since its a 6 speed roller.
RHD......
Nope. The same people who didn’t want to sell USDM TT 6 speed cars low before, would not want to sell them then either. Not to mention the “grey market” cars will go up in price.
Cool story bro!
That said $3,000 MKIV will need another $23,000 just to be remotely presentable and another $10,000 to go V160.
And yet you still bother to click on Supra articles...
Please elaborate... “They do nothing well”.
I’m not here to bash anyone, but I feel the exact opposite. IMO, these cars are very good looking and I would not even consider the SC300, GTRs or 240 in the same sentence. Mind you, this is coming from someone who’s owned 6 SC300.
Not to mention only half of those 12,000 were TT cars and only half of that number was the TT 6 speed.
I never thought I’d say this, but even if the 2JZ and the V160 disappeared, I’d find a way to put my Supra’s back on the road.
That’s funny, I feel exact opposite. To me, in order.. Supra > NSX > R34 GTR, R33 GTR > 300ZX, R32 GTR > FD RX7 > 300GT VR4. I wouldn’t even put a Celica / Corolla / etc in the same sentence.
I would take a ‘93 Maxima over an R32.
That is not a CCW wheel...
A red, RHD, N/A, Auto, that is not legal and not even stateside? Pass on all 6 aspects. I wouldn’t even waste the time.
Oh no. What am I ever going to do...
Theres only roughly 4000 USDM TT Supra’s in the States. A proper 6sp swap will cost $10,000 USD and even then, you cannot get a V160 from Toyota new anymore. Supply and demand.
Jeff, right on point as always :)
