@wicked.nightingale: I'm not saying that networks don't make dumb or short-sighted decisions. They do. But there seems to be this notion among various fandoms that networks (Fox in particular) pick up interesting shows just to kill them. And that's just stupid.
@Purple Umpteenth - Zombie Dolpharktopus - Watch Farscape or FAIL: Again, what about it? It was an expensive show on a small network and ratings had declined. It wasn't like it wasn't given a fair shake - it had four seasons.
@Damob: What about Firefly? Practically no one was watching it to begin with and its audience wasn't growing. Shows that are underperforming often get cancelled mid-season. It's the way TV programming works.
