I’m just saying that just because someone’s “using their power for good” doesn’t mean they can’t be insufferable, which is what your post implied. LMM is teetering on the edge of overexposure - and I’ll come right out and say it, the nominated song is a bog-standard snoozefest Disney ballad that doesn’t deserve to

No one is immune to insufferability. No one.

Oh my goodness gracious.

Agreed. The video unambiguously shows that this woman escalated the confrontation by assaulting him, and now she’s going for a cash grab. Fuck her. She picked a fight and lost.

Seriously. I thought Deadspin was generally pretty woke about misogyny in sports.

Seriously?

Agreed that this feels like half a story. I get a bit of a “cutting moochers out of my life” vibe from all this, particularly the detail of Rodgers firing his business manager/high school buddy - like, rule one of being a rich person is “Don’t put your friends in charge of handling your finances.” There’s clearly been

Does this game have a “chaos” system similar to the first one? I’ve heard from some other sources that the main story, and endings, are almost beat-for-beat identical to the first game, which if true is hideously disappointing.

Agreed. Dishonored was really hamstrung by its obnoxious, unforgiving “morality” system. Given that Dishonored 2 assumes a specific canon ending to the first game, I’d prefer the devs had dropped that albatross and committed to a single ending.

This. The first game was a masterpiece of art design and environmental storytelling tied to an absolute brick of a script. Sounds like this one is more of the same plus major performance issues. I think I’m gonna wait till it’s on sale.

Aside from the Dark Brotherhood (which is SO good it honestly feels like it was lifted from a different game entirely), what are the good sidequests in Oblivion?

I continue to stake my position that Morrowind was the only good Elder Scrolls game.

It’s an old reference, sir, but it checks out.

While I’m not sure I’d place Trump on the high end of actuarial tables (he doesn’t drink or smoke, his mother died at 88 and his father at 94), you’re probably right that mainstream Republicans are salivating at the thought of getting rid of him, since his positions are unpredictable and he doesn’t hold the party line

Romney, McCain, Dole, etc. were all projected to lose but you can goddamn bet they had stuff written up. It just goes to show how much a fly-by-night operation Trump’s campaign really was.

No, alcohol is not permitted by the Church; they’re a little bit looser about caffeine.

I’m going to come right out and say I’ve not quite gotten the love for this game.

The only way Belichick “wrote” that letter would be a Don Draper-esque “Write your own recommendation and I’ll sign it” scenario.

Usually when you guys copy your news from Reddit you at least have the decency to stay current. This shit was debunked weeks ago.

Replace the bread with grilled halloumi cheese. Problem solved without having to practice carpentry.
