@leesie: I honestly don't have a problem with either of them, I'm just automatically suspicious when celebrities with upcoming projects suddenly hook up and start appearing all over town together in front of the paparazzi. I mean, come on. That cover shot looks like a still from a romantic comedy.

@Zulkey: Tats that big are expensive, but I'm guessing the artist she went do doesn't command top dollar.

@StoneColdCrab: I think she's a capable singer, certainly a hell of a lot stronger than a lot of pop stars out there, but I agree with you on your other points. She gets held up at this inspirational story when in reality it's obvious that she isn't emotionally equipped to handle the stress of worldwide fame.

I've always felt that Taymor's style would work better with Batman.

@Lassus: So ... you're saying he's wrong for finding those costumes ugly as balls? Because I think they're ugly as balls, too.

@Optimus-Magnus: It's bright and colorful and sometimes campy, but I would never describe it as "ugly." This does not look like something I'd want to stare at for ~2 hours.

I know Julie Taymor is known for interesting, stylized visuals, but this just looks ugly. Like a high-budget carnival funhouse.

@lucysnowe: Yeah, the idea of people setting squirrel traps in Central Park is grossing me out. You might as well be eating subway rats.

Nothin' wrong with being a beard, but at least try to be a convincing one.

@t.king-real mrs pratt: I think we should wait for more information. Remember that girl last week who said she was expelled from school for being gay...?

@beercheck: Yeah, I'm really not impressed with the reporting here. This entire story is based on a single YouTube video. Nothing is "clear" at the moment, certainly not this young woman's bravery/integrity or the schools' lack thereof.

@Yitzhak: It's not that there's no way to corroborate it, it's that nothing has been corroborated yet. Apparently there is a news organization currently investigating it. But since the district and the university are both likely on Thanksgiving break at the moment, it'll probably take a bit of time to contact all the

Does Clive Owen not photograph well or something? Every time I see him in a movie he's sex incarnate, but in pictures he just reminds me of someone's dad. Clearly someone needs to develop a camera that captures accents.
