Trouble is, far too many voters see it for what it is and enthusiastically embrace it.

Isn’t that the district where they tried to disparage the Rhodes scholar by calling him a rapper?
That first story made me tear up.
They were a good emergency fix but now I feel gross. For the record, I only ate three! I’m going to need some cheesecake to get through this evening...
Canadian here, rooting for you all!
My friend’s water broke this morning but she stopped to vote on the way to the hospital. Her daughter is going to be fierce as fuck!
If it makes you feel better, I read a report that say that tears act as a pressure release valve. Basically, you’re overwhelmed for one reason or another and tears are a biological response to that. Also fun fact: when studied under a microscope, tears shed for different reasons look different. I.e. “happy” tears…
I felt completely nauseous after voting this morning, so I went and bought a dozen donuts.
Yes! One of my best friends has been canvassing for Delgado and is poll watching today. He tells me there has been great enthusiasm for Delgado up there.
My husband and I have voted in every election (purely local ones, too!) since we registered to vote at 18, and today was the first time EVER that I saw young people (18-20) volunteering as poll workers. I thanked them, and told them how wonderful it was to see them there. Whatever happens today, this and the massive…
I want to be optimistic but there are threads all over Twitter about voting machines going down, especially in Georgia. One black precinct mysteriously did not have power cords for its machines, meaning no one could vote for hours. How do you fucking forget power cords? Kemp is not even pretending to have a fair…
My Indivisible group in MA raised money for him and coordinated with NY19Votes on mailings. Go Antonio!
You and me both, honey. I’ve basically given up on getting any significant work done today, and am phoning it in pretty hard. Just trolling the internet for news (which there isn’t any of yet) and support. #solidarity
THANK YOU! It doesn’t mean we’re weak. We just process emotions quickly through our tear ducts?
Thanks! He is a good man. Rosendale is...not.
Couldn’t believe how busy it was. Line out the door.
If you’re in line, you get to vote.
I’m rapid cycling between nervous laughter and nausea. It’s not even 11 am here in Bozeman. I took my absentee ballot to the courthouse last Thursday and was very happy to see a long line! Montana allows registration right up to and including Election Day. We got about 3 or 4 inches of snow last night, but that…
So apparently I’m a weepy person? Can’t make it through most commercial breaks without worrying about my mascara. And today is hard for me. I live in a congressional district that’s expected to flip D and handed out D sample ballots this morning before desk job and now I’m here and just fighting back tears? I hate…
All you people in states waiting in line to vote: if you manage to flip anything, please do yourselves a favor and get vote by mail implemented. I’m in Oregon, and any of us in the US states where vote by mail is how we vote can testify: this is a far superior system.
