Actually my aunt has passed on, I think her frustration with me did her in. :-) J/k she was an amazing person and the most wonderful pastry chef - alas I didn’t inherit either her knitting or baking talent. I never tried to learn knitting again on my own, but I think I’m motivated enough again to give YouTube a try.

Got to Very Pink Knits. She explains things very clearly and has lots of videos. Also, the Knit Picks website has some great basic videos.

My mother also tried, and yet I didn’t succeed until I took a few Craftsy classes. Maybe our dear mothers just weren’t made for the teachin’.
