Hmm, what if you tried with a drawing pad? The endless mouse dragging sounds like a drag (had to), but from your description, it sounds like a drawing pad might actually be the controller of choice for this game (if, y'know, you happen to have a pad readily accessible)

Hell yeah, Franz Ferdinand was a good choice

That is absolutely bonkers about WB. Imagine owning a dairy farm and an ice cream parlor, then saying “fuck off, find your milk elsewhere” to the ice cream shop. Like, wt-actual-f?

The “I’ll defend your right to ___ to the death” fuckers are nowhere to be found today.

This makes me think of someone’s comment on Tunic in another article. Nintendo just kind of created and then left a lot of amazing IPs. I’m always here for indie games that borrow heavily from them because I would love to see more games in that style, the Mario & Luigi RPGs being one of them.

How is the internet experience for this game? I would love to play it online, but I’ve been burnt so hard by Smash’s very, very bad online speeds that I’m extremely hesitant to trust any first-party Nintendo game’s online mode.

There are so many games of big, beautiful, dead worlds full of grand architecture sitting empty and decrepit. I would love for games like this, Elden Ring, etc., to let us live in these places, to see how communities thrive in spaces like this. That’s hard to create, what with *gestures at everything* going on, but

Are we just not using the fish anymore?? On the homepage and everything!

Fashion-Souls is and forever will be an acceptable way to play these games.

I think it’s interesting that, after so many years of pop culture demanding that nothing is sacred, The Iron Giant is where many are choosing to draw the line and say, “No more.”

I also love that they trot out Zarya every fuckin’ time they need “diverse.” Every time. Boom. Zarya, reporting for diversity duty.

What’s just so bad about this is that, with these metrics, they still can’t pull off what they say they’re pulling off. The female characters look the same. They have no true body diversity except slightly-bigger arms and legs vs. thinner arms and legs. Remember the same-face issue between Brigitte, Mercy, and Zarya?

Any folks who haven’t played and have not interest in playing Elden Ring in the chat? I’m curious what your thoughts are when watching this vid. What is your impression of the world and characters?

We haven’t been told to start coming back to the office yet, but my company has grown so exponentially during the pandemic, we literally will not have the space for everyone in the office. Their suggestion: “hot desks,” where you don’t have an actual desk/work area that’s yours, but you instead swap out with

If you want a great cat-and-mouse detective-type story: Death Note.

I mean, you can jump to the conclusion that this is a bashing comment toward the review. But I think it’s possible to say part of something is negative without saying the whole thing is negative. That’s, like, the point of a review, right? And you can jump to heated anger because of a comment. That’s all you.

See that’s where you have an opinion, and it’s nice that it’s yours, but the success of the franchise would say otherwise. As do I.

Except, as I had mentioned, it’s every Borderlands review. All of them. Not just Ari. Not just Ethan. All of them. There’s always the “*sigh* And then there’s the jokes” part of every review.

I’d give anything for y’all to assign a Borderlands review to someone who actually enjoys the series, or at least enjoys scatological humor. Every reviewer y’all line up to play a Borderlands game (including Ethan’s earlier review round-up) always makes sure to note their highbrow-disdain for the pee-pee poo-poo humor
