I mean, what if, after Microsoft has gobbled up all of these studios, sexual-harassment cases actually took effect and, one-by-one, Microsoft had to pay for each studio’s legal woes? I feel like we’d finally start seeing the end of “frat bro culture” in game studios.

Honestly, let them die at this point. Let this mismanaged company wither and fall so that smaller companies with fresher ideas can have a chance to enter the space.

Ah! You’re right. I shouldn’t have lumped them together

This is what I’m saying. The stroytelling at Squeenix has become so basic and bland, it’s not worth sitting through. Octopath was a beautiful game with the most boring, predictable storylines. The Fire Emblems are anime, meaning they lounge in the lazy, all-to-easy anime tropes and expect to be carried by fan service.

Hell yeah! It’s great to see that y’all came through victorious!

I like that it looks like Samus’s last name is Metroid in her picture.

Update from 3/6/22: They won! GMG Union did it!

Yooo, they’re republishing articles from Kotaku Australia and fucking over their writers. Fuck that.

Ahhhhhh, that makes so much sense. Thanks for the info!

Is something happening to this website?

Million-dollar payouts for less than a year’s worth of work while hundreds to thousands are laid-off during record-breaking profits.

It has room for improvement, just like all aspects of Pokemon. Arceus improved exploration, battles, and moment-to-moment gameplay, stands to reason they just might improve the breeding system too.

I hope this DLC includes a breeding system. Kinda wild that the base game didn’t have any kind of breeding station, though I guess, story wise, they wouldn’t have known much about that yet.

SRD’s social media: “THEY FINALLY PUT A RING ON IT!” followed by tons of photos with their hand casually placed so that the ring just so happens to be visible.

More like a modder’d room, amirite folks??

Yeah, I def agree. It’s so damn hard to have any kind of solidarity when people have an “I’m here to look out for me and me alone” kind of mindset.

But here’s the thing: both can happen at the exact same time.

You know, there are two paths you can take when seeing someone living in better working conditions.

“You will repay my loyalty in death!” should be something people yell when overworked and/or fired by a shitty company, tbh.

It was. I think the dev team discussed it on Famitsu like early last year? I could have botched both of those data points, but I do remember reading their dev team specifically saying they initially wanted it to be DLC, but the ambitions were too big and it needed to be its own game.
