We could also tax the rich. Spread the wealth, remove it from centralized hands, and give others the opportunity to create rather than having a handful of rich gatekeepers.

From firsthand experience, it is a very bad replacement for the DMR. The BR outclasses it at range, and unless you’re lucky enough to land multiple auto-fire headshots, the AR outclasses it at close range.
