He’s saying “I didn’t do it”.
He’s saying “I didn’t do it”.
He’s saying “I didn’t do it”.
He’s pretty clearly saying “I didn’t do it”.
I’m glad that her previous statements served as a teaching moment for her and a lot of other people
The problem isn’t that they can’t write. The problem is that a service they paid for any expected to work suddenly didn’t.
It’s supportive, but (and I’m not going to say this will happen to you) if you gain any of it back it fucking HAUNTS you, because now you’re aware that your boss was watching your weight and if she’s proud of you for slimming down, what’s she thinking now you ate all the pies again?
As teenagers, my sister and I were talking about prom dresses, which naturally evolved into wedding dresses (I don’t know). I took a piece of paper and sketched out what I’d like: long flowing skirt, veil attached under a chignon, corset top, embroidery along the edges of the corset, slightly angled straps.
I got a variation of this! “You’re pretty, but if you lost ten pounds, you would be beautiful”.
Wondering how many of the comments will be a version of yours: “your mother’s experience is likely unrepresentative. Instead of listening to her story, let me tell you about these other awesome nuns I know.”
Audiobooks and waking up early enough in the morning to make coffee, then crawl back in bed with my coffee and listen to music and catch up on web things. I apparently need that one hour, or I feel resentful and rushed about being forced to leave the house.
A couple of people have linked to Hillsborough footage elsewhere. The French really did a phenomenal job - no crush injuries within the stadium, opening up the pitch, controlling the crowd and not letting an evacuation cross with possible subsequent detonations. Really well done.
This is purely my own speculation, but I wonder if they were betting that the stadium would be evacuated as soon as the first explosion went off. There was a ten-minute gap between Blast 1 and Blast 2, then almost a 20 minute gap before the third blast. If they were planning on the Stade evacuating, it would’ve been…
waiting for all the rabid New Zealand apologists, who will skip over that atrocious behavior entirely and trumpet “new Zealand’s great”!
Eh, I dunno - for the people I know who do it, it’s kind of the same as having a really nice car or cutting-edge gadgets. It’s always on their mind and they’re very proud to show off their efforts now and again, but otherwise it’s just a low hum in the background.
I have a friend who went from competitive line dancing straight into bodybuilding about five years ago. She lives halfway across the globe so the total change in Facebook updates was quite whiplashy. She seems to be having a great time, and she’s clearly healthy and happy, so yay?
I just don’t think Kate’s a joiner, personality-type wise. Also she’s English, as she points out, and the talking-about-pay reticence is even stronger there than in the US from what I recall.
Gisele referred to John as her “son”, or to herself as his “mother”, or some shit like that - it was incredibly stupid as she so clearly absolutely adores him, and he seems pretty cool with her too.
If you didn’t look beyond the header, you’re missing out. It gets so much... more.
Lol...that isn’t something you change your mind over in a few years. He was either lying then or is lying now, but saw which way the wind was blowing.
