I’ll take the 3.5TT over the 6.2 V8 any day. After having experienced the 3.5 first hand, that engine is damn impressive. Makes that giant, heavy pick up feel like a sports car.

Firebird fibreglass body? They are steel of the lowest quality and highest weight. The front and rear bumpers are plastic and there is lots of plastic stuck on the steel but there is no fibreglass in a 4th gen firebird. They weigh near enough 3500lbs. If drag racing was your thing a fox body was a better choice back…
Same, most GM pickups I hear sound like raspy crackling garbage, more like a really poor running engine with a bad exhaust leak than a good V8. I prefer a good low rumble and a smooth rev (which is how my truck sounds) vs. that terrible crackcrackcrackcrack.
