They were, when they had mechanical fuel pumps that used the cams etc. to time them and control them. The down side to mechanical pumps is that they don’t control fuel as precisely as electronic fuel injection so they do not burn very clean.

They need to target being the best daily driver sports car. I think while the C8 vette is going to be a fantastic number generator i think that it won’t be a great daily. I think the size and crappy visibility will make the driver a nervous wreck around town. I also think it will be exhausting explaining to people…

Can someone explain to me what has to be done to drift the car as the cover picture indicates? Is this merely relaxing traction control or is this pulling a fuse to disable it entirely.... or is it some crazy powertrain module crap.
it’s an m52... this is the vintage of bmw that’s actually reliable.
While the base RX7 is good (better) i don’t find this one offensive other than the paint job.
