for me it goes back to is it a drivers car... and while it has a bunch of power i don’t feel like it is... it’s heavy and lacking driver involvement.

honestly i hope people make cams for them and they end up being an ls 6.0 competitor... slap a turbo on them and keep mustangs ford powered lol.

but i agree... this is an engine that breaths great and has a short duration cam with a long runner intake.  you swap those out and this thing could be a beast. 

what you are pointing out is it is a large engine with huge breathing capacity and low duration low overlap cams... meaning this sucker is a camshaft swap away from truly big power. If it could maintain 450 ftlbs to 7000rpm with intake manifold and cam swap you’re talking 600hp

It’s pretty cool that these things are still carrying the off road torch for the brand. i had a buddy with a LX470 with lockers and a small lift that used to embarrass other off road specific vehicles.

The rods feel the stress of 855hp but the engine hp is 755 at the crank. 

Yes I will lose every race in my gt350... but I will have more fun doing it... suckers

So the car over heated when you see the sparks flying out the exhaust thats the pistons melting... once you get there the thing is toast

because other than having no manual offering, it’s a good supercar for sports car money.
