And ford needs to use the mustang chassis for a sedan.

I wish they would sell that front end setup.
Yeah BNR billet 20g and e-85
Well honestly they have barely updated the engine or chassis so i completely agree. This car used to kill the “muscle cars” in acceleration and value... not so much anymore.
Ok that mint turbo coupe is awesome too.
No, i get it. Having a 400whp legacy gt i’m fully aware that my engine was good for about 30k miles without an issue rather than 100k. I’m just saying it could be done...
Let alone the cost of upgrading engine internals, chassis components, bushings, suspension, wheels/tires, transmission, cooling systems, etc to be able to handle the higher output levels
does anyone make a tuner for those now ?
I remember when they came out a local guy had one with a gt3582 on it... running stock boost and stock injectors because no one had cracked the ECU yet.
Nice car though... pretty much imho what the toyobaru twins should have targeted not halfway between that and the fun, but…
I’ve read the article before.....
May i ask what you ended up purchasing ?
It seems like your only requirements were quick with a price range.
The agreement is Toyota bias from the start, it was only made by Subaru to give them access to Toyota’s direct injection technology. Subaru was originally only allowed to make 1 BRZ for every 3 toyota/ scion badged cars. After doing the lion’s share of the engine and chassis development why would you sign onto such an…
BUT THE FUEL PUMPS AND INJECTORS!! !
If you are an insider and can give a real reason i’d love to hear it.
I suspect it falls somewhere between what you wrote and the original agreement with toyota. My guess is the sales ratio combined with some sort of cannot compete with future supra/wrxsti language is written in there.
Why didn’t they put a turbo on it?
Nope 300+
yeah it’s a brain fart i was thinking about the brakes from the base and the S being the same but this isn’t even that generation.
While simultaneously reading the other post about BS ims failures and engine came out.
So i was wrong about what i was trying to say and even more wrong about what was actually said.....
I…
This is the generation where the S didn’t even have a different engine.
great so i’m going to buy a car with a warranty and known valve train high pressure fuel delivery and coil issues and void that warranty immediately to run 11s.
lol ok, with a manual and rear or awd are my inherent requirements.
