I agree the money should be spent on the youth but baseball does bring in more visitors from outside the county thus hotel tax…

What people don’t seem to understand is that these stadiums are funded with hotel taxes that have to be spent on “attractions.” Working for the a local government, we get X amount of money that either has to be spent on a private kids museum or the ball park.
