I was scrolling down the Jezebel page and almost stopped, then scrolled down once more, and actually GASPED OUT LOUD b/c if I had stopped scrolling I would have missed Eudora.

Great interview. I'd love to hear the husband's side as well. (Not to say that the wife is in any way misrepresenting the situation). Relationships are so wonderfully complex, I'm always happy to hear about people who have found a way to be happy together.

This is helpful and important! I have to be careful with hair oils b/c the husbo is allergic to nuts. Which makes me sad b/c hair oils make my hair happy. But, the husband just INSISTS on being able to breathe so whatever...

I would say I actually brush my hair maybe 3-4 times a year. The rest of the time, I just finger it through in the shower.

I just listened to Civilian by Wye Oak and I am SO INTO IT. Thank you.

I feel like "spooky vagina music" is the phrase that my husband has been searching for in vain for all these years.

I'm endlessly fascinated by these conversations.

Her name is kinkier than anything else in this story.

Woah.

I am so torn on whether or not being a living Luna Bar is a good thing... I've never eaten a Luna Bar, but I do like Anthropologie. And Nachos. And Target.

This story alone is going to make any children I have a total disappointment.

Convinced that my sister was not growing fast enough, I would sneak food from the kitchen and feed her between the bars of her crib at night. (3-4 y/o)

I was really confused for FAR longer than I should have been due to an explanation I received in 2nd grade which was, "Dads have hot dogs and moms have buns, the hot dog goes in the bun."

One night I was lying in bed with my favorite stuffed animal and my dad comes by and says, "Do you hear that? I think your other animals are crying because they have to sleep on the floor."

Tinted moisturizer with SPF! It's not heavy but evens out your skin while protecting it from MELANOMA. Many brands are pretty cost effective.

I'm SO INTO THIS. Thanks for the asos tip! I'll be sending this on to my sister and some tall girls I work with.

I hear you so hard! I know the rural struggle. I'm also not busty but have broad shoulders. So... I have to buy tops/jackets that expect me to be much more endowed than I am. I will check out the J.Jill and maybe secretly look at Christopher and Banks. I'm too broke for splurges.
