They were popular because they were the only other real game on class computers outside of Oregon trails. Most kids only had access to school pcs for a long time. The game show was fun but most kids had access to the game before the show.

Yikes. Might want to try again now that the links have all been timed out for sure. But I feel yea. Skype issue took a month to get sorted out.

You are describing an exception and not the norm and as such claiming one shouldn’t have to pay for their degree is avoiding the reality that most people do not have that option. I had my degree in engineering as did my husband and as did my sister and the reality is that most schools, state schools for the most

Sometimes you can’t. A lot of those awesome programs at my hub’s jobs were hard to get approval for and that had to do with money and a lot more to do with the fact that they knew it would cut into your job. They hated that. They were much more likely to agree to a certificate because those were usually more

That is statistically unlikely. I don’t know where you went to school but if that were true at my school we’d have only 15 people in our area of study at the masters level, which in reality we had over 1,100 (my school was nice enough to have that sort of info online, I didn’t know it offhand but knew it was a lot).

Some do while many don’t. People have enough debt that they usually have to start working first before they go and get a masters. Also a lot of people end up using a masters as a way to change their career if they’re unhappy with the one their undergrad got them. The rest use it to advance their current careers but

That’s annoying. I’ve had my email since gmail still required an invite and this only started happening maybe 3 or 4 years ago. I’d understand it more if I got my email address like you did.

    D’oh!

Your phone number was spoofed. Happened to me once. Lady was LIVID. I tried to explain the concept of spoofing and then told her to take it up with Verizon when that didn’t work.

Oh yea. I’ve gotten ones in Spanish. Usually hospital related so I hope it got worked out. And I also got a few from the prison system as well. I did not accept the call.

I got an old lady calling me because she programmed her speed dial wrong and it went to me. Thankfully her daughter called me and told me as soon as she could she’d fix it for her. And then I got another call from her mom. Or maybe it was grandmother/granddaughter. Either way annoying but understandable. (I get a

Our vonage line we had for awhile must have been one off of a vet clinic, the vet clinic misprinted their number, or they went out of business and I was lucky enough to get the number. Luckily it wasn’t only once in awhile but we’d both be very confused for a minute each time it happened.

I had that happen too but the person’s name was nowhere near mine. I think it had to do with sharing my area code and prefix with a lot of old people. Relatively speaking I’m not old. I just turned 18 when I got my number but the county I lived in had a lot of, um, retirees.

Lol. One offs I find cute, it’s not so cute when it’s the same small group of people over and over again.

To clarify they could take my email off his account but couldn’t stop him from adding it back on. Thankfully he hasn’t done that.

In other regards I’m rather fortunate and lucky. I guess the universe has to balance it out some way. At least that’s not the worst way that could happen. :/

I’m a little confused by your comment. I don’t own an oculus and I did contact them and they took awhile to research it and said there’s nothing more they can do after they disconnected it. But luckily he stopped so we are good now.

My number came from a large lot of numbers that were released around 2000ish specifically for mobile phones. That means a LOT of people call me accidentally who are off by one number in the last four numbers. But there have been some gems over the years.

That’s supposed to be if not I feel, btw....

    They do....for now.
