    :(

He went over that. As a guy he gets it’s way easier to not ghost and that women may rightly feel that it’s safer to not respond and that’s okay. But as long as you don’t reasonably think you’ll be harassed or worse then I would at least say no thanks! But I’m a woman who never liked the idea of online dating so most

I would go to them for the most part especially if it was a long drive or they didn’t drive (which is what I did for the most part back in my younger years). It isn’t easy breaking up with someone but ghosted shouldn’t be an option so long as they weren’t horrible to you or they have a temper.

It’s not great but it’s better than silence. I had friends break up with me in 6th grade and they did it face to face since it was a small class and they couldn’t just not see me anymore. That was harsh. But it was still better than the silent treatment and it overall led to me being a better person. I don’t think

3.5% but that was before the whole trump thing. We actually locked it in late September/early October but the first house fell through. We were able to extend it to the next house which we closed on on the 15th.

My perfect place fell through because the appraisal came in 16k under and the seller didn’t want to work with us at all. Then my 2nd place home went under contract during that time. Got the house across the street of the 2nd place home. I’m not in love with it but I got it for 25k less than it appraised for and I

Over a thousand dollars? I was a super sick kid and I still didn’t jack up that much milage.

My issue is that they assume that you’ll be upgrading your home. I don’t like assumptions.

Crazy question but why does having a kid definitely incur extra cost in housing? If my house costs so much a year, having a baby shouldn’t increase that by over 3k every year. And I’m not sure how the kid incurs thousands of dollars extra in transportation costs outside of a car seat or booster seat until they hit

Yea and they are costing you a lot of money to do that for you. Low cost index funds are best. You can get them in REITs, Bonds, international markets, in things like gold. The longer you wait the more you lose. I had to wait because a house was more important since biology doesn’t wait and I wanted to start a

Low cost index funds are a good place to start. Stay away from anything complicated and you should be fine.

Don’t worry about anyone else but yourself. Start investing more asap just  make sure you have a good emergency fund first. Everyone is different but for me that number is bare minimum expenses for 3 months and then 7.5k of uh oh the house broke fund which is about 15k.

That savings account is a great place to park your emergency fund but not anything else. Index funds are great. Please try and read a random walk down Wall Street and I think it’s called the bogleheads guide to investing. That will help a lot. I haven’t bought anything yet because I only started being good with

Therapy if you aren’t already doing it and tracking. If you track honestly and don’t blame and don’t shame and always look at your total before you make a decision (try to put what you’re going to eat as meals and planned snacks in ahead of time so you know your true wiggle room for the day) and before snacking look

But I totally get the itch to buy shiny new things, especially electronics. Just resist it so when you do have to buy a new laptop it’s because you needed it, not because the shiny stuff has a hold on you.

My laptop is telling me to replace the battery and the V key is a pain to use. I have to hit it REALLY hard and end up with a lot of Vs and then have to erase the extras. But it’s possible to fix that more easily than it would be to get a new laptop. Though I’d LOVE a new laptop if the fixes are less than $300 it’s

    I completely agree.

Good for you! That’s a great savings. I’m already adding $500 a month to principal but I will try to add more when I can. And as the MIP (PMI for FHA) goes down I’ll keep paying the original amount since I’m used to paying it anyway and that will help a little. We should be done with our loan in under 15 years so

I agree unless the person is a professional who does good work and that’s pretty rare.
