If your life depended on it, who would you take, Strong or Jamie in his current condition? It would not surprise me if Jamie either wasn’t available or turned it down out of practicality/realism.
Davos is really your only other option for a hero besides Brienne though he doesn’t have nearly the same combat skills as her.
Everything Remender is writing right now is fucking great. And while there is a sci-fi element to many of them, the themes of them differ enough that it doesn’t matter. I can’t wait for his new book with Opeña.

Anyone read Tokyo Ghost? It’s incredible, and I never see it talked about.
