@86LX5.0: That's a lot of characters for 7 letters worth of word.

@HighHeadBlues: This reminds me of a calculator-story joke that circulated when I was in grade school.

@Axel-Ripper: ONLY because he wants to claim it at the end for $500!

This topic has so much suck, I can't even handle it.

@Scorpio GTX1: I'm literally in tears laughing at this!

I read this headline and IMMEDIATELY thought Ricardo Montalban. Too obvious, too awesome!

@Top-dead-center: I can definitely see how the sales will likely bias towards the automatic side, especially if they pull the Mustang routine of selling six-cyl auto convertibles to teenage girls, but how would the auto make it easier to move around on the showfloor? Whether you select Park or pull the handbrake, it's

They used a slushbox as the fucking show car? Fail.

@branchan: I was quite bored on Friday.

@KillerRaccoon: Pretty sure my snarky and vague comment hinting toward the superiority of the manual transmission has delivered a thread of awesome.

@branchan: Are you implying that Park is the parking brake and you actually don't know about the real parking brake, or are you just making an awesome joke?

@QCDStick: With an auto, he failed to put it in park because it stopped moving temporarily in the grass. Personally, I've never driven a manual equipped car that allowed you to let off the clutch while it's in gear without it moving.

@theTokenGreek: IIRC, 99% of slushbox users hardly know they have a parking brake, and even less use it.

That wouldn't have happened if it were a manual transmission with a parking brake.

@SynthOno: I know, it's at least partially true but it's damn depressing! Talk all the shit anyone wants, but there's still something beautiful about a truck bed on a car. Some of my favorite memories of driving are blasting the heat in fall so I can have just one more day of driving with the T-tops off.
