I always liked the second generation FX50 too. Same general look as the old car but the proportions are a little more wild. Not the most practical SUV but still one of my favorite to look at.

spiritual successor” to the Infiniti FX,”

Nothing a sawzall can’t handle.

I feel you. Gran Turismo is the only upcoming game I’m looking forward to, but that’s literally my only compelling reason to replace my PS4. On the other hand, XSX just isn’t doing anything for me right now. As a One X user, it doesn’t seem do anything overly substantial over my current system and also, I am definitely

And a fan belt that will last a thousand years.

I guess he did Nazi that.

I don’t think the MKT was a “bad” car per-say. It’s a lot like the Flex (especially since they’re very similar vehicles under the sheet metal): a super respectable DD that people largely hated because of the looks.

Might be a long wait though. I’d order before you get on the flight so hopefully by the time you land, he’s done naming all the utensils.

This thing looks good but not exactly special. I see a fair bit of Lincoln in the side and rear which is nice but those fake exhaust indents are just leaving me like “wtf”.

The Highlander looks like kind of a mess by comparison to be honest. Every time I see the current one I try wrap my head around who designed the nose on that thing. It’s not offensive, it’s just.. off.

My first thoughts too when I saw the rear and side.

“The side-profile of [Insert 2-door car here] looks like a Mustang” might as well be the Jalopnik running joke of 2020.

I like this take a lot. It really is like the luxury brands are making their cars more and more outlandish looking because their cars no longer look and feel a cut above some of the run-of-the-mill brands.

Agreed completely.

Perhaps it’s one of those things that looks less weird when you see one in the flesh.

That square ass grille is killing me. It looks so out of place alongside the rest of the car. I’m hoping they reshape it or at least make it smaller on the production car.
