I, too, noticed the letterboxing. I thought I was going to get a Westworld type reveal where this was in the past, or a fantasy, lol.

Don’t let Spanfeller see this; we might get 5 more video pop-up ad pages as punishment.
I just kept thinking it was a play on “It Follows.” What a great 2-part premier.
Damn, didn’t even think of that. That’s quite the cliffhanger if that’s what they’re alluding to!
Paging the Defector staff for this deep dive (I’m surprised that that word has not been banned on this site).
And for those with HBO Max, every episode is there now. I’m so relieved since I missed out on most of them when it was on Netflix.
Although hope is still alive with 2 hours left to go in the series, I am very sad that it seems unlikely to see a return of Grant Ward/Brett Dalton in the finale. I know he got overplayed for many seasons/years, but there’s a reason for that - he’s fantastic! Would love to see one more “heroic” ride for Ward. Fingers…
My GF drives one of these pieces of shit, and keeps lane assist on. MAKE THE BEEPING STOP.
R.I.P., HitchBot.
I live in LA, and have been glad to see that many of our “high end” restaurants here (n/naka, Bestia, Bavel, etc.) are moving toward similar prix fixe to-go models to try and survive in this weird time.
And a Bernie rally. Toplessly!
The ridiculousness of some of these questions is having me believe that Salty is making these up sometimes. There’s no way people are actually asking these seriously... right?!
Definitely the automated coffee vending machine at the Honda dealership. Literally tasted like mud.
Pok Pok LA was also in a really shitty location to get to. I think it would have thrived if it had been placed in central Downtown LA, like the Financial District area.
To this day, I would have loved to have seen an alternate universe where Peter Gregory had stuck around, and, obviously, that Christopher Welch didn’t pass in real life.
Such an underrated part! For all the jabbing that Gilfoyle gives him, deep down inside, he trusted (and, based on the end, liked/tolerated) the guy! Warmed my heart.
I haven’t been this sad about a show’s ending since Scrubs.
Wait, is there really a reunion movie already rumored to be in the works, or is this just speculation?
I remember hopping on before Apex came out and it was dead. This is fantastic news, I miss playing this game. Time to reinstall!
Although, I do fear for the people who work at the location of wherever they dump these “animatronics,” AKA spirit-infested robots.
