Haha, great point. I think the issue is that D1 wasn’t nearly as popular as D2, so people tend to forget. It was a pretty creepy/terrifying setting, though!

Aesthetically, Diablo 3 was nice. However, I appreciate moving back to the grim, “Hell”-ish feeling of Diablo 2. I feel like based on the early gameplay, it strikes a nice balance.

I know it’s Kinja and I know it’s a joke, but I just want to put it out there that while Kershaw gave up the 2 HR balls, there were 2 opportunities where the Dodgers left Cody in scoring position (even once all the way at 3B) and didn’t bring him in. A 5-1 game completely changes everything in those ABs.

I mean, Davey need not look any further than his own team, who erased a 3-1 deficit in the bottom of the 8th in the NL WC game. How quickly they forget...

It’s left somewhat vague, but I’d say there was no sex involved. Ki-woo seemed somewhat “innocent,” himself (aside from the whole con-artist thing!).

My thought is that they’re playing a wait and see approach; if Corbin doesn’t need to be used tonight, I’d guess he gets the ball for G3. If he does, he probably gets shelved and they start Anibal G3, and maybe Corbin G4. Just speculation on my end, though.

I could see it happening if he somehow takes a shorter term contract with a high (even record-breaking) AAV. The Dodgers were willing to break the bank on Harper, it’s just that Friedman is averse to taking long contracts that don’t age well. 

If Anibal Sanchez can continue to look like an ace, the Nats may have a shot. 

My other theory is that it’s some weird machination of that “Dark Rey” we saw in the D23 teaser. It would be way too weird to have a zombie Palpatine roaming around this storyline, but I guess nothing’s impossible at this point, especially with the resurrection of Darth Maul in Clone Wars :shrug:

Yea, my first thought was some sort of Force vision or dream (akin to Luke’s visions on Dagobah). The desolate surroundings and an unarmed Rey lead me to believe it’s not “real.”

Great point, I didn’t even think of that. I suppose money is money, regardless of whether it’s a season-long hold or individual tickets. Spanos must love it when nationally popular teams like the Steelers or Patriots come to town.

The only Chargers fans I know of that live in LA are those that went to school/college in SD, fell in love with the Rivers/LT Chargers, then moved back home afterward.

The only issue I could see, is that presumably a lot of ticket sales are driven by season ticket holders. I can’t imagine that these transplant fans are driving the bus on seat licenses.
