I have two cats. I love them more than most anything in the world. I am OBSESSED with them. But at the end of the day they’re cats, so as far as I’m concerned the best way to pick them up is however I fucking want to (and to achieve maximum snuggles).

Upside to this newest mission: it’s a LOT easier to make New York look like Chicago than DC. Much like Justified and its California-as-Kentucky (where I was raised) issue , my only real “problem” with the show is how clearly it’s not shot in DC (where I’ve lived for years).

Not to get too technical but it was Stan hosting Phillip.

That’s the best way to make eggs. Save your bacon grease people!

Yeah that’s where my fundamental disconnect comes from. No show will ever convince me that ZACH FLORRICK is a bad seed.

I have no experience with running whatsoever — except maybe for the bus, or from the cops in high school — and even I was like “damn kj is really going for it!”

While yes, her body count is a bit extreme and stretches plausibility, it’s easier to just think that due to the sensitive nature of these crimes the FBI would be covering it up way before it got out to the general public.

I find that beleaguered smoking is a better cinematic representation of intense stress. And it looks cooler too!

Matthew is truly fantastic -- and I’ll never get over hearing his real Welsh accent on the podcast -- but I think this is Kerri’s season, and if anyone wins an award it will be her. I think there’s a good chance they, and the show, will all be nominated though.

While it’s insane to me that you dove into the 2nd season without watching the first, I will reserve those judgments and merely point out that all of season 1 is available on hulu (assuming, of course, you’re in the US).

I got to settle for the middle ground — on Broadway, but starring (an older) John Cameron Mitchell, complete with knee brace from taking a real life spill a few days before. It was sensational.

I’m honestly impressed the Ru/the producer’s predicted what a phenomenon Vanjie would be become

In the podcast the creators made a specific point to talk about the darkness since the scene would be, in actuality, incredibly dark, so points for realism. However with just how shitty cable compression is, darkness like that does not read well and ends up being polluted with all kinds of visual artifacts. I’d love

This has confused me a lot, like I always thought the travel agency was very much a front and that they were being bankrolled by the Soviets. Sure, Elizabeth is the only one working now, but isn’t it in their best interests to keep that household as stable as possible? Soviet spies for the US were often given huge

I’m still weirded out by the handmaid drag stuff. Ru started it — or at least made it mainstream — on All Stars 3, and I still can’t fathom how any queen could read the book, or watch the show, or both, and be like “oooh this would be the perfect look for a campy mockery of gender and sexuality!” I’m all for “edgy”

Not at all. The ideal ratio is something like 3:1 mayo and ketchup. The latter has such a strong flavor that a straight 1:1 will just end up tasting like ketchup.

Correct me if I’m wrong but Shawn is the one pit crew member to hang dong outside of drag race and I am 100% here for it. Bryce are you listening???

Conversely I would rather watch Truth or Dare than this garbage. Honestly I’d much rather watch Truth or Dare over most movies.

And this is why you get them animal style!

Yep. Though for some inconceivable reason they call them western fries.
