Oh, I don't think the show is good, though the little logic lapses don't bother me. It's more so the show being OK to good in fits and starts with a pantload of filler in between, not to mention slapping one trait on a character then sticking it without no matter what, e.g. pacifist Morgan last season. That shit just

They had me on that, yes. Rick loses an arm in the comics so I thought they may flip the script.

At least we didn't get a "Mad World" grieving montage. Count your blessings, folks.

The comics are pretty damned good now - as good as they were during the prison arc, I believe. But I have to disagree somewhat about JD Morgan. He's very menacing in this despite not being the biggest guy.

It's just seven seasons of Lord of the Flies can be a little wearying. And i liked tonight's episode.

The juggalos have more pregnant chain smokers, though.

Welcome back, Jordan.

As an incredibly interesting sage from the future, aka comics reader, I was dreading that goddamned popped eyeball for five months. The cliffhanger was a mistake, no need for it, but Abe and Glenn getting whacked 20 minutes in was a surprise. I was sure they'd hold off til the end of the hour.

Brutal but effective enough little episode, I thought. I know Zach is tired of the misery cycle this show deals in, but there's potential for goodness ahead as the survivors explore a wider world. I'm over the cliffhanger fakeout at this point.

Him getting rained on is a nice touch, though.

Why did they get rid of that font?

I'll skip this, thanks, unless this is a performance piece like Broken Matt Hardy.

Should Trump be elected, Fallon will be among the first in the internment camps for touching the God Emperor's hair. /s

Feast has some good material, but the tangential characters and kingsmoot stuff gave the narrative too wide a reach, which continued in Dance. I was halfway through Dance and remember thinking, 'Yeah this isn't going to get any better, is it?" It's not a bad book, but it does not compare to the series's first 3 novels.

I'd say this is from Robert Jordan's thoughts, but he's dead.

The relative mediocrity of Dance, combined with the show "spoiling" book plot points, makes me not care all that much about this news. Thank you and good night.

I'm not a fan of using a Bayley win to set up some Charlotte/Dana feud, if that's what we're heading for. Just no interested in that, at least not now. I was hoping for a good old face vs. heel title chase. Bayley losing via injury wouldn't take the gloss off her with fans.

Jericho's an all-time favorite for me as well. Every few months I'll watch his '1004 holds' promo again.

The show does not need to be 3 hours. A nice economical two hours ala Smackdown would cut out the filler.

Raw's title picture recovered pretty nicely from the Balor injury, I'll say that much. Owens can be a good, cowardly heel, and WWE focusing on story and entertainment aspects over work rate is something I can get behind. Reigns butting into the title match is not something I want to see, however.
