Dish, Monadelics, dish!
I would've liked to see Punisher be more involved in the fight against the Hand, rather than just appearing for a sniper rifle cameo.
Yep, it's strange for a show as violent as this to be allergic to the f-bomb. Even if it is Marvel.
For starters, ultimately running the Punisher/DD storylines parallel to each other really hurt the season overall. We didn't need Elektra at all this year. She could have been saved for S3.
SJW shouldn't be used seriously in any context, but that's just me.
Getting misty reading this. Thank you for sharing.
Nicely said. I think its Prince's fey quality that will cement his legacy. He did seem like some otherworldly being who didn't die, but merely phased from existence like Leonard Nimoy in that one Simpsons' episode.
It's true that Jimmy has a blind spot when it comes to Chuck..nor would he ever suspect his letter-of-the-law bro to resort to Slippin' Jimmy levels of duplicity. My thoughts were about Kim, who Jimmy himself said he 'rat-fucked' Chuck for.
Was a bit disappointed with how readily Jimmy confessed, especially considering what the admission could do to Kim. So Jimmy said it to made Chuck feel better, but didn't expect Chuck to take any action with the info b/c it could be construed as a made-up story? Just feels muddled, though it was still a good scene…
The best thing about this show is Strand's voice. I'm so done…probably.
Good move. I told myself I was done last week, and backslid this week. Now I'm *really* done…I think.
It's the petty, unthinking rudeness that gets me.
People at my gym do it, not just in the weight room but in the locker room as well. It's a real bring-down after I'm done gunning my lats.
Go one step further and send offending texters to a small, wi-fi free island in the Antarctic.
Streamlining the series is the best bet to make the movie(s) hang together. Some of the later books are nigh unfilmable, and I'd be happy if Arcel drops the meta messiness that dragged the series down later on.
We'll always have T1, T2, Aliens and True Lies.
That boardroom scene had so many squibs!
I get what you mean about having a weak stomach for seemingly realistic, 'intimate' violence. I've seen Saving Private Ryan five times, and Mellish's death still makes me squirm.
This may have been the same kid who told about the mermaid at the end of Super Mario Bros's Minus World. If you saved her, you'd take a photo and send it to Nintendo, who would promptly deliver to you every game in their library.
