I’ve been playing Odyssey for the first time these last few weeks and it is a blast. I skipped many of the earlier titles in the series but Odyssey is really satisfying and learning about the mythology around the Greeks is quite cool. I didn’t pay enough attention to them in my school days. I’ll go after Origins next.

Your entertaining commentary continues to strengthen my assumption we’d get along quite well over a whiskey or a nice, cheap spiced rum along with some soda (of course). The “Human war crime” was a brilliant touch but this comment seals the deal.

I had no idea this existed. Thank you for making my Monday. Buzz continues to be a hero to me.

I picked up the Dolby Atmos version of this setup for Christmas and though it has Atmos, most content is still just using 5.1 audio so even though I don’t have this exact model I can say it’s probably close enough to comment on.

If I need to commute for work ever again (work from home last several years), the GTI would be in my top three for sure. The wife will never give up the RS. That’s her car now for life, I can pry the steering wheel from her cold, dead hands as she says from time to time.

Had a 2012 MK6 GTI and was easily one of my all time favorite cars. Ran perfectly, no issues after 100k or so miles before trading in.

An RS owner and a fan of Lock, Stock? My kind of guy. Cheers from a fellow RS owner. Yes, I had the head gasket replaced and no problems afterward. Pressure leak test was successful so should be in the clear. Been almost a year since recall and wife drives the RS daily. No issues.

Come on now. We all secretly love that song.

Fair enough :)

The 2001 to 2006 years on the Frontier could get a factory supercharged version of the older V6 which only put out around 175 HP. The supercharged version put it to 201.

Is there something wrong with being 40 and wanting to drive a WRX?

Valid.

I suspect it’s not an older version but rather, a mix of merged branches of code going back into the master branch. The master branch is what is used to deliver the final build to customers. Developers build, debug and test by checking out a “branch” from the master branch (the idea is to keep the master branch as a

Surprised nobody linked the spy shots from last month and posted by Autoblog:

For what it’s worth, the most recent game play video/live stream (1/17/19 Ranger) with a more recent build does show numerous improvements. No chance to compare any of the home base elements visually or dialog/NPC interactions but the game play is tightening up and has some good quality of life improvements.

Yeah that was a Holy Shit moment for me. Nightmare fuel now.

Yeah Forsaken really helped Destiny 2. I’ve had more fun with the game the last two months than I did at any time prior. The Division is also in a good spot right now. Probably going to dust it off again before the sequel releases.

I think you completely missed what I was concerned about from the new IGN video. I am fully aware what the gameplay loop is and I’m perfectly fine with it being MP based looter/shooter. In fact, I look forward to it. It still looks fun.

Good post and I think you touch on key points around Anthem in particular regarding player sentiment carrying the wounds of the past on their shoulders.

That was a very nice touch. Made my day.
