I’ve sat on the fence for this one for years. Nearly buying it many times on one of Steam’s sales. But at this price...hard to refuse. I’ll set this up for me and my son. I think he would love this game. Thank you for the tip!

For what it’s worth, I’ve been getting back into Destiny 2 lately and having a blast. Forsaken brought much needed improvements and changes and the dawning event going right now is well done.
I was in Beijing for a few weeks last month and those small three-wheeled truck things hauling leeks in the photo at the top were everywhere. Everyday I walked to the office, I saw leeks being hauled from one place to another. Beijing was seemingly up to it’s neck with leeks!
My wife daily drives my Focus RS, go figure! She’ll never let me take it away from her either. That car is for life. It’s ok since I work from home so why not let her enjoy it.
Interesting, thanks for the heads up!
In regards to the survival aspect, it really hasn’t been an issue for me. I’ve had plenty of fruit to find just wandering around, buildings frequently have food containers and water is as easy as collecting dirty water from any working faucet, river etc and then boiling it.
Eh, good point. I could have phrased it better and not link it to spending money but rather wait for more details to come to light through others that play and well informed reviews. You’ve seen my take and that so far, I’m enjoying it. I’m sure others are saying pretty different things than I.
See, maybe because I’m older now I care a lot less about direct player conflict, the exploration and mindless crawl as you refer to it is quite pleasing to me. But for you, seems you can tell that maybe it isn’t the right game for your play style which is cool in my book.
That’s fair and yes, time will tell but Bethesda has also stated that they have long term content update plans as well as more means to prevent pvp griefing if that becomes a serious matter.
Valid point. I should have separated the co-op aspect a bit better. You are absolutely correct in that it does seem much can be done solo and I was solo during the entire beta and had no real issue but that was only through the first 10 or so levels.
Yikes, I hadn’t even checked the prices yet. Yeah, that’s too steep for sure to me. I was thinking that some nice ones might be 99 cents or along those lines.
Fair enough! Well, I’ve soloed a fair bit in FA76 but I do suspect that there will be areas where teams or at least one other to help will go a long way towards success unless you can find some really OP legendaries. I found a leg piece leather armor that turns me invisible if I crouch and stay still. That could come…
Between the hours I put in on the beta and playing yesterday and the day before (servers were online over a dozen hours before they said they would be), I ran into exactly 2 players that wanted to PVP and one of them did it just to try it out.
Short 5'6" guy here. Flat bottomed steering wheels are fantastic. My legs are short so my seat has to be higher and more forward than usual and that steering wheel being flat gives me a lot more room getting in and out without having to re-adjust my seat every time. Especially helpful in the Focus RS which is…
For me, the chase is the seasons. Starting from scratch, trying out a new class and build, working through the seasonal challenges and getting the cosmetic rewards and/or pet and then I put it away again until the next season. Seasonal play is what keeps me picking that game back up. So if you haven’t tried going…
I’m also curious if all exocraft are still murder machines. Can’t drive anywhere without absolutely annihilating any living creature I slightly touch with a vehicle. To the point that I either just have to floor it and go fast enough creatures don’t always spawn in or I go so slow I can try to avoid most creatures but…
Thank you for the info! I just turned 40 so I feel you there. I’ll check this out. I’m interested already. For my wife, 12 yr old son and I, this might be exactly the extra layer of comfort we need!
Can you give me a bit more info on this A-frame? I would love to have something like this for the family to make camping a bit easier. I’m not the young guy I used to be so tenting is hard on the back.
I wondered the same but after watching the actual video, I’m convinced there is no actual screen there yet. It’s just a placeholder with hard textured plastic. Perhaps will even ship that way giving you the option to install an aftermarket double-din head unit maybe.
I think its just a slab o’ plastic there in the GIF. But regardless, I would buy the hell out of one of these if they were state side :(
