You could screen the entire movie during his trot.
That’s the point of what I’m saying, getting 130 or so people to agree on something like this means that the year the player had was extraordinary in the history of the NBA, but when the only reason it was able to occur is because a New York sports guy voted for Carmelo Anthony (LeBron) in 2012, and some other guy…
I thought the play at the end with the shot clock violation that wasn’t was a microcosm of this game. You saw Westbrook take off, while the Spurs waited for the refs to bail them out. I don’t know what’s happened to the Spurs but it feels like a lot of the plays that they aren’t getting calls on could easily be fixed…
KG isn’t eating shit lol. Amazing talent, admirable passion, but dude is the king of “posturing”.
I’m going to go out and say it. I think Dwight Howard has gotten a bit of a bum rap.
First, the Warriors are the better team against an average NBA team, even if it’s marginally so. The record and final +/- bears this out. (Plus, the Warriors didn’t even try on defense for half of the season, they were so utterly bored).
...except that the playoffs-version of the Spurs is on the verge of getting bounced by OKC. If they manage to get past the Thunder and they play like this against the Warriors, they will absolutely get “the shit kicked out of them.”
Can we just step back and marvel at Steven Adams’ mutation into Kiwi DeAndre for a moment? 12 pts and 11 reb tonight, with a steal and an assist... 16/11 and 2 blocks in the Game 4 win, and even without a look from Peak Russy in the Game 3 debacle, hit all his FT and wound up with 11 boards. They can’t put Leonard on…
I wrote this yesterday, but damn if I’m cheering for OKC to come out of the West and for the Heat to pull the NBA equivalent of Chelsea in the 2012 Champions League and get to the finals with their unappealing basketball. Just because all the “Can we just forward to a Spurs-Warriors WCF finals and have the winner…
Pretty similar to 90's Bulls. They were still contenders while MJ was playing baseball. As for LeBron, Heat could make the Eastern Conf Finals this year. Granted they made some moves after he left though. The LeBron Heat teams probably would have made playoffs without him, not contenders though.
And this is why they keep getting shut down, jerk.
Got married in Feb. My wife and I entered the reception to Bound 2 (Kanye) with the music video playing on a large screen. Anyone not too familiar probably thought we were immensely douchey (whether they gathered that it was in jest or not) but there was no way I was going to enter this overly expensive party we paid…
This...this is a pretty hot take.
If only there were a medical clinic that could work with these two and prescribe some supplements so that they could build more muscle and recover faster from minor injuries. I bet it would help them restore their productivity. I see a niche market here.
I’m not so sure a fastball graph of a pitcher whose best pitch is a changeup is indication of a big decline. They could be coaching him to dial the fastball back a little now to avoid his late season fatigue.
On the other hand David Ortiz and Bartolo Colon are Gen Xers who are hitting homeruns and relating to the characters in Singles.
The bag says “ketchup flavoured” but we know the truth.
From the woman with a thigh tattoo, to the guy who looks like he recorded on Scott Storch’s label in the early 2000's, the bro with the DJ Khaled line up beard, and the pudgy middle aged balding financial planner type in red pants there my not be a more MIAMI Heat fan photo out there.
Funny you say that “hands up don’t shoot” was the name of the play he drew up
