If you think religions did not preach for doctors to let gays die of AIDS you must be super young.

If a person can’t handle the sight of blood, body odors, treating gays or minorities we don’t think that person should be a doctor.
This is different though because some people really truly feel that the fetus is a life and you really can’t compel people to do something that they believe is murder, even if you don’t believe it is. Hell, in “After Tiller”, one of the 4 docs in the country who provides late term abortions said that she feels that it…
They’re get some training in D&Cs miscarriages, but that's about it.
I watched After Tiller last night and yeah... I think all of them have battle stories of botched abortions, which makes me wonder if it'll come to that to get a new generation trained to perform late term abortions.
Nah fair point/should have reread the article. Just watched “After Tiller” last night and it’s massively frustrating how the situation gets even more dire for later term abortions, as those are higher risk.
To compound the issues, even if they can open their doors, they’ll have a difficult time finding doctors who can perform abortions. NPR had a story just the other day about barriers to training in Texas, which basically boil down to Texas thinks it’s acceptable to make their med students go out of state to learn how…
In NYC, the rent requirements are now usually something like annual income needs to be 40x your rent and your cosigner needs to make 80x the rent. This puts apartments out of reach for pretty much anyone who’s young and or not working the most fantastic jobs, even if they could make the rent if they budget right.
That’d just be because Ta-Nehisi Coates started publishing at the national level in 2000 and only really became part of the national conversation with the rise of BLM.
John Oliver’s show (and possibly Samantha Beers too) made the good point that with the NRA , it isn’t even about money. It’s that they get their constituency to turn out for everything and call and write their congressman practically daily. Basically they win by showing they really really care.
My school just snapped up a hotshot and he’s loathed by almost everyone I know and none of ‘em are even in the department he’s technically attached to. It’s kinda jaw dropping watching him hit on students during class.
Oh, I totally agree with you...

Aww, I just wanna :) over the deviantart mention ‘cause pretty much all my computer and phone backgrounds have come from them almost since they started (in 2000).
It’s a sensor based lock that activates and deactivates at venue entry points (or presumably wherever the locking transmitter is set up)
Cool. Yeah, Flushing has loads of relatively cheap Asian grocery stores, so you should be able to have something of a variety for relatively cheap.
Where you moving from? The best part about Queens (NY) is that we’ve got loads of ethnic grocery stores so you can usually get all sorts of fruits and veggies and interesting flavorings on the somewhat cheap.
I have about 3ft of kitchen, so my tip is sink racks. They turn my sink into counterspace for bowls and veggies to soak and whatever else. I have almost no wall space, (laminate backsplash) so no hanging things. But when my roommate moved out, I moved the pots and pans to her former bookshelves ‘cause I didn’t want to…
With Maguire the adaptations are always better than the books, so it’d be sad indeed if that happened.
There are alternatives, but there’s no major competitor for Office
