Or a Bette Midler!

I gagged.

Yeah, I thought Kimora was painfully bad during the lip sync like didn't know the words, had no moves, wasn't fun to watch bad.

I'd say it's more on par with David Tennant's Killgrave who was my favorite villian until Legion.

Deadwood

Yes, you're forgetting his extensive talks with Malcolm about getting her out and a number of confessionals about how dangerous she is…which he then forgot? So, yeah, it really was an idiot move not to play that idol. Not even bringing it? Insanity.

Clearly, we disagree.

Except what she really did was ensure that she, herself, would receive no votes. Losing Michaela wouldn't have ruined her game.

Erm, not quite default since she did get herself to the final 3 again with those players.

Nah, I'm pretty sure it's her amazing ability to manipulate other players into thinking there are better targets. She's a freakin' genius at this!

You really should do it!! She's not very famous (by some standards), and I'm sure would really appreciate it! I only got one Playbill signed, but it was Glenn Close (Death and the Handmaiden) so yeah, almost fainted.
PS Richard Dreyfus and Gene Hackman were her co-stars. I was in heaven the whole play!

Addendum: I was very lucky to see Faith Prince in her Tony winning role in the 1992 revival of Guys and Dolls with Nathan Lane and Tom Wopat. She was amazing!

Often some of Broadway's best end up in fairly thankless mom roles on tv, Betty Buckley (Eight Is Enough), Patti Lupone (Life Goes On), Nancy Dussault (Too Close For Comfort). Debra Monk while mostly doing guest starring roles won an Emmy on NYPD Blue. Cherry Jones did years on 24. Anyway, many of the best do end up

My fiance and I did our engagement photos there and had the marquee changed to announce our wedding date since our theme is Art Deco Hollywood. I may be overly fond of it because of that. *grin*

Thank you, I found it. I always used to watch, but worried with VH1 it'd been chopped.

I see what your saying, but I find it more than sad (and really quite aggravating) that more films are still NOT utilizing these great talents (including the fantastic Judy Davis). It's not that tv is a step down, but the insanity of believing these older actresses (and by extension all women) aren't worthy of studio

It is still ridiculously hard for women in this industry. Last year only 7% (I believe) were female directed despite there being many many acclaimed and accomplished women to do so.
Others who could and should have been nominated include: Mira Nair, Kimberly Peirce, Gillian Armstrong, Sarah Polley, Amy Heckerling, and

Slight mistake there, it's not Faith Prince (such a talent!), but Molly Price.

Since I live in Long Beach, I go to the Art Theatre fairly regularly as it shows more independent and critically acclaimed fare. Plus, I love art deco.
Though it's not nearly as magnificent as the Warner Grand.

I choked up twice this episode— during this scene because it hurts that she's so very wrong about how films would and continue to be made. If only the film industry would ever recognize the value and abilities of women!
Then, again, when Joan is stumbling about finding the phones off the hook and realizing just as she
