You should check it out. I thought the first two seasons were great.

(The joke is that Syd was on season two of Fargo. As was Jean Smart. And both shows are by Noah Hawley).
Don’t have a cow about it.
1. They said in the first episode that children are resistant to the Catalyst illness.
I think Farouk’s coffin’s “egg” shape was symbolic as it was referred to by the narrator (Jon Hamm) who says “a delusion starts like any other idea, like an egg”, and again when Future-Syd makes a callback to the concept of an idea starting as an egg when she describes the plague.
For awhile during the episode, I was kinda hoping it was Syd-cow, but that’s seemingly not where they were going this time.
Syd’s maze will be all ten episodes of season two of Fargo, re-done by this cast. But crammed into one episode somehow.
Kerry experiencing eating and shitting for the first time was just as hilariously awkward as I’d imagined it’d be.
So stoked we basically got Ed Piskor’s version of Xavior and Farouk’s confrontation:
This show can be really hard to wrap your head around to keep up with what’s going on so I really appreciate the humor that’s sprinkled in like the cow and Kickass Cary learning how to eat and what happens after you eat.
Navid Negahban as Amahl Farouk is again my favorite part of this excellent episode! He’s relaxed and reassuring to David, while I feel like he’s still calculating.
I was too busy having flashbacks of going to see Wrath of Khan when I was a kid.
What happened to David’s sister? Has she even been meantioned this season?
Again a big shout out to Syd switching minds with a cat. But it was obvious from that scene that the feline actor did not take directions well.
Before the asylum, David was friends with a junkie named Benny, as remembered by his ex-girlfriend.
I am really enjoying the mindfuck of this season and the set production team is definitely on top of their game. I love the visuals and beehive theme.
The cat is a great actor. I was throughly impressed.
Those little lessons about the mind within each episode are still my favorite parts. This one with Oliver purposely teaching a kid about incorrect colors and causing his death was just delightfully fucking dark.
Nice to see confirmation tonight on last week’s theory involving Lenny. Yes, she existed and was a separate personality from Farouk, and unfortunately her body is dead as we saw at Clockworks.
Farouk’s actor was my favorite part of the episode. His monologue to David. The whole “I am the Sun” bit. The psychic wrestle battle was cool. I thought the visual effect for him zipping up the world with Aubrey Plaza’s Lenny was gorgeous and well edited. His finger snap was perfectly edited and synced too.
