This show was hugely under appreciated. Its a really excellent example of sci-fi cartoon done well.

I think its more that racism, in my everyday life, is just not frequent enough for me to discern it from the other terrible distant stuff, like slavery in the food industry or the awful preventabilty of extreem poverty. It falls into the terrible noise that is the real world.

Not really. White privilege is more about not having any racism directed at us, or worse, benefiting from the racism of others. This is just lack of exposure, one way or the other.
