Well, I knew that snake was my own sweet dad
From a worn-out picture that my mother’d had
And I knew that scar on his cheek and his evil eye
He was big and bent and gray and old
And I looked at him and my blood ran cold
And I said: “My name is ‘Sue X Æ A-12!’ How do you do!?

I suppose walking out into traffic, or, some distracted Yahoo driving through a crosswalk.

A dangerous trend I’ve seen way more lately is people just walking into cross walks without even looking to see if a car is coming.

Yes, you have the right of way, but when it comes to a 3000 pound (at best) car traveling even 20mph it’s going to take time to stop. If you walk out in front of them without looking you

That’s the thing - I’d wager a not-insignificant portion of the increase in pedestrian deaths can be attributed to distracted-walking.

Fixing the small truck rules under CAFE to match reality would be a good step towards encouraging smaller cars.

Where I live they decided it would be a great idea to pave over travel lanes and put in bike lanes. They also have a trail system, some of which runs alongside the roads. “Real” cyclists don’t use the bike lanes, preferring to ride in the roadway, sometimes alongside the bikers using the bike paths. They also fail to

IT DOES NOT FLY.

Warning: This reply is not about how much the car costs, or what type of person would buy one. Sorry.

The point of this car is not reason. Its objective merits are irrelevant (and probably not very “good” compared to rivals).

I bought the plastic version of this years ago, and it’s main saving grace was that it didn’t water down the drink.

Everyone is happy for businesses they don’t personally like to die during this.

Why, in a free enterprise society such as the US, should the private jet industry die and never come back from this? Yes - it’s an industry primarily utilized by the 1%, however, it’s still a rather large industry nonetheless that provides jobs to aircraft maintenance personnel. Especially those transitioning out of

The Livewire is not very fast for a motorcycle.

For a Harley it is a spaceship, but yeah, it is way slower than most litre bikes. Even an old 600 is faster than the Livewire down the quarter mile....a setting they are absolutely not intended for.

Just a reminder that fast is relative, but that Harley is fucking slow. I'm all for electric power trains, but let's not put HD on some kind of pedestal here.

I beg to differ. A $35k Lamborghini from the 80s is absolutely Jalop.

This is a little extreme. Financing is a useful tool and most 36mo loans have interest lower than inflation. You’d be an idiot to pay cash if you can get 0% for 3 yrs.

Detroit maybe?

Where do you live that your house was less than $34k?
