The word nigger is a weapon. It was used to rape, murder and enslave. It is still used today to murder, silence and dehumanize. Yes, this weapon belongs in a museum where blacks and whites alike can study its danger. But heres the kicker: We, black people, get sent home with a copy no matter what. Why? because the

I don’t prefer to be called n—-a / n—-er by anyone of any color, but it annoys me that my white acquaintances try to use it, mostly to see if they can get away with it. “Why can’t we say it?”

“Why do you want to?” is a better question.

I’m a black man working in the IT industry (enterprise support; I’m no software developer) born in Louisiana and raised in Southern California. Systemic racism to me is widespread stereotyping and judgement based on race. In my field, the norm is white, Indian, and Asian. I’ve been involved in engineering and robotics

I keep hearing about how only a small percentage of cops are problems, and that on the whole, they’re no worse than the general population. This is bullshit.

Is there some “thin blue line” code that prevents cops from saying, “Oops, my bad”? It seems like many of the cops-acting-poorly stories in the news could be avoided if, during training, cops were taught that it’s OK to make a small mistake now and then. I mean...they are human.

My money says cop was using his cell phone at the light, then got butthurt when someone honked at him.

I feel like the US policing problem could be solved by basically just finding anyone who really wants to be a cop and not allowing them to be a cop. It seems like an unhealthy percentage of police are just in it to lord their authority over people. Also, I realize not all cops, but sure as shit a bunch of them.

So, are we “Great Again” yet? Just in case I missed something because I dozed off there for a little while.

I couldn’t help but notice that there aren’t any “GITMO! DEATH SENTENCE!” tweets coming out of the White House. Hmmm.

Even Stringer Bell paid the price for violating the Sunday truce, but not Republicans. They’re bullet-proof that way.

You’d also think that, being Texas with its open carry laws, there would have been plenty of good guys with guns ready to stop this. Maybe that whole narrative is a bunch of crap as well.

(sigh)

Folks who are able to passively accept it’s passing must not deal with deep snow on steep hills. It’s not about sport driving for me it’s just about being able to control traction myself in a predictable way. I have a 45 degree hill that sometimes has 3-9 inches of snow on it. In a manual you can drive up it and use

Donald Trump installed as “President” is a bad consequence.

You’re “very misinformed” as to which website you’re are on you jabronie. Also, since you have graced us with with your presence, what exactly is he misinformed on?

You aren’t on Jalopnik, you are on Foxtrot Alpha. Check the URL.

Just gotta invest in a wide body...

Versus the confidence that used Audi, BMW, and Mercedes vehicles instill, of course, being the paragons of reliability they are.

It’s not about it being legal or not, it’s about it being stupid AF to risk the trust of a valuable intelligence source.
